      Dark garnet red in colour, still bright and vibrant with opaque blood red hues.

    • Bouquet

      Lifted, perfumed, ripe and generous. Wonderful stewed fruit aromas of blackberry jam, combined with a mocha, coffee – like sarperella character. Hints of pepper and cedar with wafts of cloves and aniseed.

    • Palate

      Full bodied and showing rich ripe fruits of raspberry, rhubarb, sour cherry and blueberry. The mid-palate shows wonderful spice of liquorice, clove and a dark, brooding choc-mint character. The back palate is long, soft, dry and complex.

    • Peak Drinking / Cellaring Potential

      Drink now or cellar for up to 2 years. (Decant prior to consumption. This is an aged wine and therefore a natural sediment is present. Please stand upright for 24 hours prior to decanting.)

      Enjoy with Beef Wellington, BBQ’d pork spare ribs, hare pie or strong cheeses.
