Colour: Pale yellow gold in colour with opaque white gold hues.
Nose: Lifted fruit aromas of ripe passionfruit, honeydew melon and paw paw. This is
supported by wafts of bush fire smoke and hints of lanolin.
Palate: Ripe, floral, gentle, soft and clean. The upfront fruit flavours are of grapefruit
and nashi pear. The mid palate displays layers of herbal complexities with
nuances of dill and slight paprika. The back palate is soft yet dry with a long
clean almost creamed cheese finish.
Cellar: Now – 2 years.
Food: Belgian style mussels in a white wine sauce with crusty bread, Goat’s cheese
and dill tartlets, Poached ocean trout with a berblanc sauce.
