Aromatic and spicy Shiraz
Magenta merging into a Deep Purple.
A powerful and aromatic mix of spice and red fruits, and subtle pencil shavings.
A nice fresh acidity is complemented by bold red fruit and peppery flavours, with some heavier dark fruits and tannings lingering. A little vanilla, cinnamon and plum, with sour cherry notes. A dry finish courtesy of the acid, tannin and alcohol has you reaching to savour another sip.
5 – 8 years.
Beef with a high marble count would sit beautifully, as would Pecorino cheese. Peppered Salami, and other dried or cured meats with pickled vegetables.
