  This is Ribena for adults, rich and ripe black fruit aromas of black currant. There is also just a hint of that classic greenness so often seen in cabernet sauvignon giving it a slight herbal nose.

• Palate

  Although medium bodied there is an intensity of flavour. Those blackcurrants and mulberries just shine through. This rich, ripe and generous fruit with a hint of savoury and soft tannins finishes on the palate with a soft creamy texture. This makes just a wonderful all round drinking wine.

  Now or Cellar 5-6 years (Written November 2022).

  Get those lamb loin chops out, either BBQ or Grilled. This wine loves the sweeter meats, aged cheddar cheeses (something with a bit of bite).
